Petro Bond is a state–of–the–art non–toxic 3rd generation Elastomer polymer, designed to bond and solidify liquid oily (hydrocarbon) waste. Petro Bond is a true absorbent which pulls the waste thru the polymer creating a non–leaching solid mass. It can bond up to 15 parts liquid (by weight) to 1 part polymer.

Most products on the market today used to pick up spills such as clay, silica, peat moss, and others are adsorbents which work by collecting liquid into the pours on the surface of the material.

Petro Bond creates minimal waste volume when combined with the liquid waste. The final waste form will usually be 10% or less larger than the original volume of waste itself.

Petro Bond has passed the most rigid standards for long term burial. It is also certified incinerable and produces less than .02% ash.

It is used extensively to solidify radioactive liquid waste for the nuclear industry across the United States and around the world.
