Manufacturer: Checkers, Manufacturer Part Number: MC4011
The Checkers MC4011 Ultra-Class Mining Wheel Chock represents the pinnacle of safety innovation for the mining industry. This heavy-duty wheel chock is designed specifically for ultra-class mining vehicles, offering superior safety and durability for the largest haul trucks in the mining industry with a capacity to secure vehicles weighing up to 1,600,000 lbs (800 tons).
As the lightest ultra-class mining chock available*, the MC4011 is 23% lighter than our previous version, weighing 27 lbs , which makes it significantly easier to lift and install on bumper mounts while meeting NIOSH guidelines for one-person lift above the shoulder. The ergonomic design features an external handle that's easier to reach and grip with gloves, along with an optimized center of gravity for easier carrying and installing.
With dimensions of 17.5" x 14.5" x 16", the MC4011 is 7.5 inches shorter than other products on the market, further enhancing maneuverability. It has been rigorously tested on 10% uphill and downhill grades for maximum hold and is designed to meet specific wheel geometry, ensuring positive holding power for the heaviest mining trucks.
Constructed from tough HDPE, this wheel chock is resistant to many oils, fuels, solvents, tears, abrasions, and extreme weather conditions. It meets OSHA and MSHA specifications, making it the only chock suitable for safe single-person placement and removal in ultra-class mining operations.
Whether for open pit mines, quarries, or large-scale mining operations, the MC4011 addresses critical industry pain points including labor shortages, costly replacements due to corrosive environments, and worker injury risks. Checkers’ MC4011 helps mining operations improve efficiency and ROI while prioritizing worker safety, making it the smart choice for mining operations worldwide.
Replacement handle and bracket are available separately. The MC4011 is also available in a non-bracket version - MC4011-NB - for vehicles that already include chock mounting equipment.
